LoriLee Sadler Bielski is an executive leader, coach, and change agent for enterprise organizations. She has a proven track record of leading and facilitating strategic vision, organizational alignment, and organizational change that yields game-changing top-line results for her clients. Those results are enabled by improved decision making and processes, organizational benchmarking, marketing strategy and go to market maturity, and strategic technology selection and value realization.
LoriLee brings a unique, center-brained approach to her work and her relationships. Trained as a classical musician and cognitive scientist, she expertly blends creative and analytical approaches to business and marketing challenges and opportunities. Empathy, inclusiveness, and living in your genius sit side by side with robust business analysis, maturity models, and best practices, and is borne out in the wealth of experience serving clients across a wide variety of industry verticals over the last thirty years of her career.
LoriLee has held chief technology officer, chief scientist, and chief academic officer roles, in addition to faculty appointments, in large academic institutions and a for-profit educational startup. She was a participant in the development of the original SCORM standard that is the foundation of most learning management systems today, as well as a contributing author on guidelines for the development and deployment of Internet2, the high-speed Internet backbone that replaced the first generation of Internet technology in higher education and research organizations. She left her full-time roles in academe in 2004 to join her husband Art and manage their digital agency, Gamma Partners. The Bielskis sold Gamma Partners in 2019 to a large digital services firm for nearly twelve times EBITDA, and LoriLee subsequently served as managing director for the global digital marketing practice. There she worked with global retail, healthcare, and technology brands to double the revenue of the marketing practice, successfully grew the practice during COVID, launched offshore teams to support global clients, and saw the company through another sale in late 2022. She remained through the transition and integration period, leaving in May 2023.
LoriLee holds advanced degrees in music and cognitive science and is the author of 15 textbooks and numerous academic papers. She is a highly regarded speaker and teacher. She was named one of Chicago’s top women in technology by Crain’s Chicago Business and work she led has won Webby and Horizon Interactive Awards for design and innovation, as well as Agency of the Year awards from enterprise clients. LoriLee plays the bassoon in regional orchestras in the Chicago area, serves as an advisor at a local food pantry and with multiple churches in Lake County, Illinois, and is on the water whenever time and the weather allows.
